1. Introduction Call
This is a complimentary video call to learn more about you and your family, your prioritized objectives, and the desired value of a financial planning relationship. We review tangible examples of the financial planning process and mutually define expectations. This call clarifies whether advice-only financial planning with Measure Twice Financial aligns with your personal needs.
2. Transparent Agreement
We review a financial planning agreement letter that details the topic areas specific to your planning needs, our respective responsibilities, and the transparent compensation arrangement. This letter is mutually signed along with payment of the first half of the planning fee ($3,825).
3. Data Organization
We must understand where we are before determining where to go and how to get there. Your financial information is compiled and organized using a confidential online dashboard. Each planning topic area is summarized to gain an understanding of your current financial landscape. Here is a sample data gathering checklist to provide an example of the financial information that may be requested.
4. Review & Scenario Creation
During this video call, we review the accuracy of your summarized financial information and reestablish your personal financial objectives. We also mutually define financial planning assumptions and create personalized scenarios to meet your expectations.
5. Analysis and Plan Development
Your organized information is thoroughly analyzed to find opportunities and develop refined strategies in alignment with your personal objectives. This complex analysis is translated into an educational narrative and a Measurable Action Plan (MAP).
6. Plan Presentation
The financial analysis, topic area summaries, planning recommendations, and Measurable Action Plan (MAP) are presented during our third video call. You will gain a full understanding of your current financial situation and learn how to improve your plan in alignment with your personal objectives. The second half of the planning fee ($3,825) is paid upon the delivery of your financial plan document.
7. Implementation & Follow-Up
Upon the plan presentation call, you are encouraged to ask questions to provide clarity and confidence as you implement any or all of the financial planning recommendations. After completing the three-month comprehensive planning process, you will have the option but no obligation to refine your plan with ongoing updates ($450 per hour). Having an advice-only financial planner in your corner can help you “measure twice” as your plan changes along the way.
